Ultra PDF Merger boasts a clean and simplistic layout that gives users the possibility to add PDF files to the list using the built-in browse function or “drag and drop” support. The utility enables you to add multiple PDF files to the list and select the order in which they appear in the final document by moving the items up or down. What’s more, you are allowed to specify a start and end page for each item added to the list, and remove the selected documents or clear the entire list with just one click. In order to merge the files, you are required to specify a saving directory and file name. On the downside, the program hasn’t been updated for a while, so it may cause compatibility issues on newer operating systems. During our testing we have noticed that Ultra PDF Merger carries out the merging process very quickly and provides excellent image quality. It leaves a minimal footprint on computer resources, so the overall system performance is not burdened.
