3DMediaViewer is a lightweight software application built specifically for helping users view 3d images in a clean and intuitive working environment. The tool sports a clean and simplistic layout that offers only a few dedicated parameters to tinker with. 3DMediaViewer gives you the possibility to select the file to be opened using the built-in browse function, so you cannot rely on the “drag and drop” support. The program offers support for the following file formats: JPEG, JPS, MPO, PNG, or BMP file format. What’s more, the utility comes packed with three different viewing modes designed to give you a hand when it comes to opening 3D pictures on a computer equipped with the NVIDIA 3D Vision system or on a 3D monitor which displays two interlaced images by using polarized glasses, as well as view the photos with the anaglyph mode. Other important features worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to view the 3D images in a full screen mode, go to the previous or next item, as well as create a slideshow by specifying the transition delay. During our testing we have noticed that 3DMediaViewer carries out a task quickly, provides very good image quality, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. As it would be expected from such a small utility, it remains light on system resources, so it doesn’t burden the overall performance of the computer, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality. To sum things up, 3DMediaViewer offers a simple software solution when it comes to helping you view 3D images, and is suitable for all types of users, regardless of their experience level.
