Cute PSP Video Converter is a fully-featured video converter. Although it has PSP in its title, that doesn't mean that it can only convert video files for playback on the Playstation Portable. In fact, the application has over 30 different conversion profiles. Most of them are designed for either the PSP or the Playstation 3, but there are some profiles that can be used to convert files for playback on a wide variety of devices, including PCs. The user interface is quite colorful, with nice buttons and some on-screen help. There is a video player on the right that can be used to preview video but not the conversion quality. In terms of performance, I noticed some problems with this converter. More specifically, some of the profiles didn't work. And sadly, those are the profiles designed for the PSP and the Playstation 3. Whenever I tried to convert a file to one of those formats, an error came up saying that "29.97 is not a valid floating point value". 29.97 must refer to frame rate, but I am not sure as to what floating point value means. The rest of the profiles seemed to work right, but it is supposed to be a PSP converter, and, right now, it can't get the job done. José Fernández Editor rating:
