DOCX to DOC Description

DOCX to DOC is a simple program developed specifically in order to help individuals quickly transform, as the name hints at, DOCX documents into DOC. The interface is simple and intuitive, allowing both novice and advanced users to find their way around it, without experiencing problems. In addition to that, the UI is built on two tabs, which let you easily access the two actions available, namely manual conversion and folder watcher. This software utility supports batch conversion, enabling you to manage multiple files at a time, and therefore enhancing ease of use. Importing files to the application can be done by clicking the "Add Files" button or by using the "drag and drop" feature. You should also know it is possible to add entire directories, along with sub-folders. Uploaded DOCX document are displayed in a list, paired with detailed information such as source and conversion path, file type, size and modify time. Moreover, they can all be sorted according to the aforementioned info. When converting, a progress bar is shown, so as to give the user an idea about how much the process is going to take, while logs are going to show them details about each transformed file. The “Folder Watch” tab enables you to monitor a custom directory for DOCXs and convert them automatically. You can include sub-folders and exclude particular words in file name or path. All in all, seeing that CPU and memory usage is minimal, DOCX to DOC is a piece of software which proves to be useful.
