It embeds a help manual but there’s a slight chance that you need to consult it, as the main window is highly intuitive. The tool lets you add a single file to the list or upload the content of an entire folder. On the downside, there’s no support for drag-and-drop operations. What’s more, you can view information about each file, such as name, path, type, and status, and process multiple items at the same time with the aid of batch processing. Tests revealed that the deletion process is accomplished very quickly and without putting a lot of stress on your CPU and memory. At the end of the task, the tool reveals the number of deleted items. Bottom lineAll in all, File Eater proves to be a handy app and its overall simplicity makes it ideal especially when you want to delete some files on fly without having to tweak the entire process in detail.
