IIS Tweak Description

The IIS Tweak application was developed to be a small tool that will allow you to reconfigure an IIS web site with user-defined settings at the click of a button by updating the IIS Metabase. USAGE: Basic Usage: - If you are starting from scratch, you will first need to add a group. - To add a group, click the folder button above the tree view, or right click on anything in the tree and select "Add GROUP". Once the new group has been added you can rename it to something more descriptive. To add a site to a group, do one of the following: - Right click the group and select "Add ITEM". - Select the group and click the file icon above the tree view. Either action will prompt you to select the site's web root. Once you do that you can rename the new site to something more descriptive. To change the home directory for http://localhost, do one of the following: - Double click an item from the tree. - Select an item from the tree and click the run icon above the treeview. - Right click an item from the tree and select "Run" - Select an item form the tree and hit "Enter" Success and error messages are shown in the box below the tree. Error messages will cause the box to flash red. All changes to tree contents or the utility window size will be saved automatically. The utility will use these the next time it starts up.
