MML Authoring Platform Description

MML Authoring Platform is an easy to use application specially designed for MML Documents. This tool can be categorized into three areas, basic authoring functionality including the text editor, supporting dialogs, wizards and views, 2D graph visualization editor and FML geometry visualization. The basic authoring platform provides Project file control, Text editor, assistance dialogs, wizards and Views that assists in the creation and editing of MML documents. The 2D Graph Visualization component is able to generate different types of graph visualization based on the MML Document. Graph Visualization provides an easier method to understand the mother compare to the text based representation of the XML/HDF5 document. It also allows abstract and logical representation of MML Models that may span across different documents. The Graph is written on the JGraph and JGraph Layout package. The 3D Visualization platform provides Spatial View of the FML document. This platform was developed using Java3D package. This platform is intended to provide visualization of the FML geometric model and eventually field attribute support.
