MSN Winks Plus Description

MSN Winks Plus consists of a rich collection of smileys for MSN Messenger. It provides an easy way to enhance your chat experience with cool animations and emoticons. The MSN instant messaging platforms features a built-in selection of smileys, but it’s not rich enough to keep the routine away. If you’re looking for something special, here’s an alternative for you: MSN Winks Plus. This application provides you with an impressive number of animations (or so they say) that can spice up even the dullest of conversations. On the downside, the development of the project has halted and very few of the smileys are actually downloadable from the developer’s servers. We can state from the start that our tests were inconclusive. The only reason for that is that we could only view about ten percent of the entire collection, due to several errors (files could not be accessed on the server or trial limitations). On the other hand, the smileys that were available seemed to have what it takes to sprinkle joy in a conversation window. The graphic quality is decent, colors are bright and design is tasteful. In order to port the animations to MSN, click on any of the winks and press the ‘Install’ button. Note that you are required to sign in your MSN Messenger before starting the installation process. Settings include switching between the download servers (only two are available, none of which work properly) and backing up the emoticon collection for sharing purposes, for instance. All in all, MSN Winks Plus could have been a breath of fresh air, if it worked properly. Since development on this project seems to have met the finish line, it is highly recommended that you try out different solutions involving MSN animations.
