Mandelbrot Set Viewer Description

Mandelbrot Set Viewer is a program that displays images from the Mandelbrot set. This set has become popular outside mathematics for its aesthetic appeal. It is one of the best known examples of mathematical visualizations: the points form a 2D fractal shape. This program allows you to view a grayscale image of any part of this shape, zooming in to any part of it. To select a part of the set that you want to view, you must draw a square by using your mouse. Once you do this, the program will show you the selected area zoomed in. This program does not use a fixed image. It calculates how that exact area will look when zoomed in, and then it shows it to you. That´s why there are no limits to the zooming level, you can zoom in as many times as you want. This viewer will always show you a detailed image of the selected part of the set.
