River Raid Description

River Raid is a simple shooting game that resembles those golden oldie classics with 2D graphics, vertical scrolling, and 8-bit sounds. River Raid is about a plane with the mission to destroy all helicopters, bridges, or any other enemy found on its way. Shoot your missiles with accuracy to ensure a long life and a high score. Much more advanced enemies with faster shooting rate and higher speed will be found as higher levels are reached. The plane requires a lot of fuel to keep moving! You can see the remaining fuel level on the right side of the screen. Do not let this level reach zero - make sure you fly over all the bars marked with the text "fuel" to refill your tank or else you'll crash on the ground. On the right side of the screen you can find the options, choose the level of difficulty, and there's also a link to visit the developer's website to download more games.
