TS EDI Generator will pick information from user specified input data source either XML or an RDBMS. Using this information it will then generate EDI file according to the selected EDI standard. Segment are inserted into the file using a unique Segment Injection approach which ensures that business rules related to each segment are encapsulated in desperate segment classes. The decision on which segments to inject is made using strategy pattern and a different strategy is used for each EDI standard. Both Segment Injection and Strategy Pattern ensure that the component is highly maintainable and extendable.
