Fedora MATE Compiz LiveCD is an open source, lightweight and powerful Linux operating system, yet another spin of the Fedora Linux distribution, this time with the MATE Compiz desktop environment, offering a classic desktop experience to all Linux nostalgics. The Live CD includes the latest version of the MATE desktop environment, a clone of the GNOME 2 desktop environment, and uses the Compiz Fusion software for eye-candy 3D desktop effects. Fedora MATE Compiz LiveCD is distributed as separate Live CD ISO images, one for the 32-bit architectures and the other one for 64-bit architectures. The system can be used directly from the live media (CD/USB) or installed on a local/external drive.
