Ubuntu Photo is an open source Linux distribution based on the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) operating system and designed especially for amateur and enthusiast photographers. Ubuntu Photo includes the GNOME Fallback mode, which is enabled by default, and a customized set of applications geared toward digital photography. The distro includes GIMP 2.8 (with resynthesizer plug-in, Python layer effects plug-in and the G'MIC plug-ins), Darktable, Hugin Panorama Photo Stitcher, DVD Styler, and WinFF. Among other applications that are included in Ubuntu Photo, we can mentin Pinta, OpenShot Video Editor, gLabels, Skype, Lucky Backup, Banshee, Ripper X, Quadrapassel, and Synaptic Package Manager. Ubuntu Photo is distributed as Live DVD ISO images, supporting both 64-bit and 32-bit architectures.
